Collectible Cat Book, Mittens

This children's book is about a little tuxedo kitten with white paws.  Because of its white paws it was named Mittens.  This is an over sized hardback book (11 1/4" high x 12 1/4" wide).  The author Clare Newberry wrote and illustrated this story.  The book was originally published in 1936 then re-published again in 1998.  29 pages, illustrations throughout.  Some wear on the paper dust jacket otherwise in good condition. This book weighs over 1 pound.
